The first demo / album from Derby solo project Infernal Symphony. Recorded mid 2015 - early 2016, this was the band's first foray into recorded territory and provides a gruesomely dark and oppressive black-metal influenced dirge. Frenetic and crushing passages layered with pain wash through soul-destroying atmospherics and foreboding, monolithic riffs, revealing an expansive and engrossing journey that just builds and builds the tension without relenting.

The overlying theme of medieval religious oppression sets the backdrop to forthcoming albums. Almost remaining unreleased due to the band's perfectionist attitude, it has instead been decided to be released for free in order to test the waters and unleash the Infernal Symphony on an unsuspecting world.

The album does suffer from lacklustre production on certain tracks due to the early nature of the material, which will be fixed on subsequent albums. If you fund the band through purchasing this and other albums, then those funds will be used to remaster and improve this album and others.
