Yet another satanic extravaganza, this new foray into the gloomy digital depths is something special indeed. And what better day to release it than on Friday 13th, the most unholy of days?!

... And now for something a little bit different. Just kidding - Infernal Symphony churn back into motion with their newest release and 25th album overall - the aptly-titled 'Kult'. Born from the unholy union of satanic blasphemy, ruminations on satanism and unleashing your full potential, and a desire to alter the Dungeon Synth paradigm, this new record blasts forth with majestic devastation!

Originally planned as a collaborative effort with the now-defunct one man black metal crew Winter Web, this album was originally constructed to be a Synth base to guitar-based tracks with his vocals as well. As it turns out, they are now no more and we have instead taken to using guitars and vocals, so perhaps there will be a re-release at some point with those elements included also?

Nevertheless, the music contained on this record is astounding. Pure. Black Metal drum beats and midi riffs break new ground compared to our usual fare, dialling up the blackened elements and dingey, dungeon atmosphere, and the tracks become more barebones and primal as a result. The barbarism is best displayed on tracks such as Blood & Rust, Forked Tongue and Image Of Desecration, along with standout epic 'Gore Of Babylon'.
