Godly fire Godly fire Godly fire Godly fire Godly fire Realise you're a liar Taking liberties with my life And with my soul I desire To rend you limb from limb You have nowhere to run I am a God Yeahhhhh! Bathed in the light of the autumn spirits Flashing their blades and your giblets Impossible cruelty But, of course, that's what we would expect from a deity Walking into the light That feeble excuse for morality Left hand path Sways your direction On your quest for immortality For the glory For the honor For the chance to be revered Absolve yourself in the cleansing inferno Life disappears Unholy Baptism of fire The darkest doom there can be Godly Fire Fate transpire That this man be all he can be Cataclysmic anarchy Ascending life-force Psycopathy Walk into the light That feeble excuse for morality Left hand path Sways your direction On your quest for immortality Godly fire
3.
Paindemonium Torture chamber of immortals Paindemonium Hell is arriving inside your head Prison of Hell under lock and key There is no escape, no way to leave But your bones and your blood will boil And your flesh is ripped away In the paindemonium Paindemonium Seventh circle of Hell There is not much left for me to tell For the sins you have committed Your carnal body lowered into the scalding vats Presided over by the officers of Damnation The prison of the soul Paindemonium Pain One more masterpiece of pain to be hung Tapestries and walls made of fire An ocean of eternal disdain under your feet

As featured on the full length 'Evil Spirits' available on Bandcamp NOW!

Welcome. One and all...

Seeing as 'Evil Spirits' is Infernal Symphony's 30th Album release, marking 6 years of constant releases and a full evolution of the band's recognisable and unique sound, we bring you this second EP as a companion piece to the first, as well as the full album - to give you a devilish taste of what's to come from the record proper...

Given the demonic nature of the album, it's esoteric subject matter and the central concept of 3s which is essential to the record's core and themes... We decided it was only fitting to celebrate by making it a 3-part staggered release, to truly immerse you in the rich and layered magnitude of such Satanic soundscape. Which only now becomes more fitting when you consider that a 'Triptych' is a series of connected paintings which depict a full image - Truly, a work greater than the sum of it's parts.

'Triptych Of The Ancients' is a trilogy of connected tracks which forms the back portion of Evil Spirits, which also stands alone as a solitary short-form release as well. These three tracks are distinctly linked by a common thread of three dichotomys - Freedom vs. Slavery, Christianity vs. Wicca/Paganism, and Pleasure vs. Pain.

Part one of the trilogy explicitly references the magic and cultural practices of wiccans during the medieval ages, including an actual recitation of the magical chant that Witches of the time uttered when practicing their craft. This represents the freedom they had to practice their culture until the Christians came along to strip them of it and indoctrinate them, taking away their culture and identity in the process to be replaced with sacrifice and piety in the name of 'progress'.

Part two deals with the fact that slavery is actually endorsed in the Old Testament of the Bible, as well as the fact that every sin can ultimately be forgiven with one exception - blasphemy. Practicing witchcraft was seen as blasphemy against the mercy of Christ and therefore an offence which damned your soul to an eternity of torture and flames in the fires of Hell.

Lastly, the final track of this EP expresses the agonising and unbearable infinite pain of knowingly being tortured by a supposedly loving, merciful and all-knowing creator - one who proclaims love in one breath and damnation in the next. Truly a painful pandemonium to be burnt to a crisp and back again, forever in an endless cycle of suffering.

Perhaps the ancient wisdoms and cultures which predate Christianity and all other Abrahamic faiths were right all along?

I hope you enjoyed this collection, and if you enjoyed it, check out the sister EP 'The Lesser Key Of Solomon' or the entire album EVIL SPIRITS...

Ave Satanas!
