The River Of Sorrows (Single)

about

'The River Of Sorrows' is the final track and first taste of 'Ancient Glimmers', my first-ever winter synth/ fantasy synth album! Which, oddly enough, comes out a day after this taster track!

This song is a major and important part of the lore for 'Ancient Glimmers', as it describes the cursed artifact the nameless protagonist has been charged with seeking and retrieving by the acolytes of his Guild of Mages - a fabled sword, which drains the innocence of the wielder, granting them the power to start and stop life on a whim.

An epic, rousing piece and 8-minute long final track, this album closer swells into a crescendo of haunting melodies, battle-worthy drive and fantastical, snow-blasted theatrics, closing the first chapter of this tale on a bombastic yet ominous note.

Please enjoy, and look for the full album out on 15/03/24!
