about

Bow down to the king...

'Laceration Coronation', the next step to Infernal knighthood by Infernal Symphony, and brand new album, is a spellbinding, chaotic and thoughtful excursion into deeper and darker dungeon synth territory than ever before. Blending elements of all previous DS albums we have made with something destructive, daring and new, this album takes on a beastly life of it's own and brandishes it with intent.

We have never really embraced the true sound of traditional dungeon synth, but we get closer than ever to that here, with somber and minimalist compositions on display here compared to our previous efforts, in an attempt to evoke the princely and cataclysmic commiserations of holy and unholy knights, kings and priests as they ascend to a much more dangerous state, and in doing so, facing the trials and treachery of knighthood in the name of closeness with God... and ultimately, how that noble aim unravels a web of deceit, corruption and evil.

Alongside these moments of relative clarity stand tracks of giant grandeur with colossal sound to them, sonically quaking the earth with lightning quick passages of ups, downs and pandemonium put to music. It is a true paradox that music this devoid of analogue sensitivities can evoke such raw, analogue feeling.

Across all 12 fantastic tracks, we display our sheer breadth of musical approach and mastery of the synth as an instrument. Available for free streaming or purchasable download, we invite you to carry the crown and demonstrate that you, too, are capable of joining the royal elite.

With a gargantuan hour in runtime, and somehow having no shortage of exhilarating, gripping and visceral riffs to fill it, 'Laceration Coronation' once again displays Infernal Symphony at it's best and macerating the religious amongst us. Hail!

Thank you very humbly for listening. We are forever in your debt...
