'Libraries Of The Abyss', the much-acclaimed and pivotal 6th full-length dungeon synth album, and 14th main album altogether of our discography, is 12 tracks of everything that makes Infernal Symphony great. It truly is all here; plus a new-found sense of catatonic whimsy, butchering digital heaviness, streaks of experimentation throughout and an ambitious and adventurous new take on our unclassifiable and distinctive brand of anguish.

'Libraries Of The Abyss' loosely follows the concept of a mysterious walkway down toward the very depths of depravity itself - a musical metaphor for the very act of listening to our music in the first place. From the frenzied percussion of 'Vitriolic Vanguard' to the warbling, ambitious heavy metal phrasing of 'Sheol's Conjuror', 'Libraries' is just that - A library of all things psychotic that caresses the mind as gently as a rusty chainsaw mowing through decaying flesh.

As an album, this release is more than the sum of it's parts. And as a statement - it's euphoric. A benchmark of technicality in digitised metal and dark ambient music, and a torchbearer for the pinnacle of our recorded output so far, 'Libraries Of The Abyss' deserves your attention - nay - SCREAMS for it!!

Taking previous victories 'Faust', 'Groteshka' and 'Ceace To Exist' as a blueprint, 'Libraries' takes every aspect of that established approach up several bloodstained notches and adds a corrupted spectral presence to it to boot! Adding layer upon layer of intricacies which unfold over each listen to deliver a huge wall of sound, these occult-influenced tracks are sure to expand your knowledge of the arcane and the archaic.

Certain tracks display an aptitude at evoking an unsettling disquiet and a certain disturbing quality... And the whole album, front to back, is one wholly distinguished work that stands apart from anything else you'll hear this year.

If you are looking for a breakthrough ambient/progressive/death/avant guarde album for the ages and the underworld, this is most definitely it.
